Subway Vans to the Rescue – January 24th, 2012

There’s nothing more irritating than a business meeting which runs through lunch time. Not only does it take up the precious time where you should be devouring your favourite sandwich, but as you have not eaten lunch, you lack energy and there is always the hazard that your stomach may start rumbling for all to hear. You may even end up unintentionally nodding off for a nap if you’re not careful! Luckily, there is a great solution to this frustrating problem – Subway Platters!

Subway is slowly becoming one of the most popular sandwich chains in the world. The six inch or foot long sandwich or wrap is a mouth-watering treat. Well, now you can spice up those boring lunchtime meetings with a Subway Platter, which consists of a selection of Subway’s most popular sandwiches. You will have a noticeably full meeting room and fewer excuses about why people can’t make it if you introduce this fun treat to your business.

Subway vans are fun, funky and filled with fresh sandwiches which come straight to your door. All you have to do is place your order before 5pm the previous day or anytime a week before the meeting and hey presto, you have made your meeting a lot more exciting.

Another great advantage to Subway Platters is that these deliveries are a fresh and healthy alternative to greasy, fatty and artery-clogging takeaways. Subway is the official sponsor of The Biggest Loser USA as it can be incorporated into a healthy lifestyle and diet regime for weight loss. Although, it is important to contact a doctor before you begin any weight loss regime for advice and health precautions.

Other memorable vans include Ford’s extensive van range. Not only are they reliable and stylish, but they are also affordable. There are many Ford van leasing deals for you to get your hands on one of these vans. You may opt for Transit Connect leasing or Ford Transit for business or personal use.

If your business requires anything else to make meetings more exciting, for example high quality used office furniture or cheap rugs to spruce up the place, don’t be afraid to spend some money as you may see a large return on your investment by reigniting the image of your business.

Choose Between New And Used Office Furniture – July 6th, 2011

In every person’s life one of the most important things to them would be saving money, this could be done in a number of ways and one simple way is to buy second hand furnishings. And office furniture is the place to look.

For somebody wanting to get second hand office furniture there are a variety of ways to get hold of it. One of the easiest is to find a specialist company that sell second hand office furniture.

The second way to possibly get second hand furniture is to look through the rubbish of an office just in case you see anything that’s useful, even if it’s not useful to them. The least successful of these three options is asking the business directly to see if they are getting rid of any unwanted furniture.

One of the easiest and quickest things to get as used office furniture is normally desks and cabinets, if a business gets new desks they will not normally need the old ones any more. This makes them perfect for small businesses and students as they are still in good condition but a lot cheaper and sometimes free.

When you go to buy used office furniture you will already have an idea of what you want, sometimes there might something that you never expected. This might include water coolers, floor mats, lamps, paintings and even conference tables.

One of the biggest problems you may have is not being able to find what you’re looking for, so being able to buy used office furniture online is a huge advantage compared to looking in a warehouse or a rubbish site.

Buying any sort of second hand furniture is perfect for somebody that’s just started a business, as it might be very expensive to buy new furniture in the current economy it’s great to save some money. There is no problem with buying second hand office furniture as its still all going to be in good condition.

Cleanse Your Skin Problems Away – June 23rd, 2011

There are so many beauty products at the moment, coming up with more revolutionary ways of tackling our skin troubles. Some may be great for our skin, however the minority that aren’t, have the possibility of making matters worse instead of getting no results.

Dermalogica wants to put a stop to this, with their great range of products. If you have blemish prone skin from time to time, or even acne, a good suggestion would be the Special Cleansing Gel 500ml. It really is a great product for those who lack in confidence when they have a break out. The gel will thoroughly remove all impurities, and leave your skin feeling fresh and hydrated. It won’t disturb the skin’s natural moisture balance however, and it also won’t dry out or strip your skin like some other products do.

Special Cleansing Gel is really only suitable for blemish prone skin, and sensitive areas that need moisture. Calming agents will purify and soothe your skin, and Mint Balm will calm any sensitivity. Your skin will be left feeling smoother and brighter, because the soap free gel cleanses away all of the toxins and debris on your skin.

If you would like more information on this product, feel free to have a look at our regular Beauty Flash, which will give you the latest news and Dermalogica reviews you will ever need! If you have a particular question you would like to ask our skin health experts, ask away and they will be happy to help, and reply as soon as possible.

Could Your Van Double Up as A Family Car – May 19th, 2011

It’s quite interesting hearing a friend talk about his new van that he recently had just taken delivery of.

He had owned his three previous vans but had decided to look into leasing for the first time ever after it was recommended to him.

After making some enquiries, he found that there were some fantastic van leasing deals around and having his own business also meant that he could offset the rental price against the business each month as well as reclaim the VAT back too.  Making good sense, he decided to set about choosing the type of van that would suit his needs.

Having three children and a average sized family car meant it was difficult if they ever wanted to head off for the afternoon on a bike ride as they couldn’t fit all the bikes on the back of the car so a van with 5 seats plus space in the back seemed the ideal solution.

He looked around at several different van types before deciding on a Volkswagen Transporter with 2 rows of seating and plenty of storage in the back so it could also double up as a family car if needed at the weekends.  He was also able to specify how to have the back kitted out with storage to carry all the necessary tools and things for work.

The whole family are more than pleased with daddy’s new choice of van as it means they can throw all their bikes in the back and head off out for the day.

Bringing The Outdoors Indoors – May 11th, 2011

We recently decided that it was about time we spent some time and money making our conservatory more like a second lounge now that our two boys no longer need it as a playroom.

It was the perfect room for a playroom but they have now reached the age where they don’t really play with toys anymore and are more into their gadgets like their TV games consoles and their handheld games which take up hardly any room compared to the builders workbenches and wooden train track that used to be set up here there and everywhere!

When you have the sun shining through the glass roof and the doors open into the garden, it really feels like you are relaxing on holiday.

We are really not sure what colour to choose and having a cream sofa and a cream carpet any colour would go in the room.  We are stuck between red and orange and green.  We think the colour green would bring the garden into the room, particularly the orange and red in the autumn.

There are so many beautiful rugs and some lovely red cushion covers along with orange and green ones too, it really does make it much harder to try and decide on what colour scheme to go with.

At the end of the day, no matter which colour we choose, the room will certainly look a whole lot better than it does now and we look forward to spending many lazy family Sundays in it.

Choosing My New Car To Lease – May 5th, 2011

I have decided it’s now time I treated myself to a new car, and a nice one at that!

Now the children are older and know how to respect the nicer things in life, I feel I can choose a nice luxurious car that within minutes, won’t be covered in crumbs and rubbish all over the back seats.

Gone are the days of having a big estate car or a people carrier that is big enough to carry pushchairs, scooters and bikes and the back of the car big enough for two or three car seats and plenty of room so you don’t feel little feet kicking you in the back when you are driving.  It’s the time to finally choose a car that I would like to drive.

I have been looking at BMW 3 series lease deals and there are some fantastic deals at the moment and I know that I can have a much nicer car if I lease one rather than putting all my money into buying one.

You don’t have to pay a fortune each month on a BMW 3 series lease as there are so many in the range to choose from and you also get the option of adding exactly what extras you want.

How Often Should Your Towels & Duvets Be Washed? – April 7th, 2011

So there are lots of different views on how many times a week your towels should be washed.

Some people think that your towels should be washed immediately after they have been used but to be honest how practical is that?  Firstly, how many people have enough spare towels to ensure they are washed and dried and ready to use within the same day and secondly, how many people have the time especially if they work full time.

I think a realistic time for towels to be washed is every 4-5 days and hand towels maybe a little more often than that.  If there are lots of you in the family it is hard enough keeping on top of the everyday washing of clothes and the ironing that goes with it without the added daily washing of towels.

What we have to also think of is what people did back in the days when our parents were young before they had the luxury of washing machines, they all managed and I am pretty sure that they weren’t washing towels every day by hand!

Duvets are another item that comes up in conversation about how often they need to be washed.  The recommended cleaning for them is every six months and they should be cleaned by a recommended professional dry cleaner.
